What have you learnt from the process of constructing this product?
Over the past academic year I have used many different technological processes in order to edit and improve my production and blog.
This is a photo of Indi holding the cam recorder, the most important part of the production process. I learnt how to use one effectively to create high quality shots.
This is a picture of Indi holding a voice recorder. We used this in order to record Emily's piece of dialogue. We dubbed this sound over the shot which was aided by my editing skills. In doing so we achieved a more crisp clear sound than we would have done with a camera.
This picture shows Indi holding a tripod, we used this in order to stabilize the camera which helped us create more professional looking shots.
This picture shows me holding a Macbook. This was a very important piece of equipment because it is where we started the sound and editing process.
Who would be your target audience for your media project?
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product?
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
These are two examples of teenage female character that have both experienced a rough childhood. We have represented the average white, teenage female through the use of mise-en-scene. The tailored coat, boots and statement necklace all connote an average middle class teenager. The use of a dark color pallet also physicalises her internal sadness and pain.
