Genre Mood Board

Through this mood board I was able to connote some of the major aspects of the film, such as child abuse and drugs. We chose these aspects as the show the harsh reality of the effects of substance abuse. The mood board not only features abused children and drugs, but the shabby location, which is often associated with drug use and gritty realism. During the production we will be taking inspiration for the mood board in order to construct the piece with an accurate representation of real life.

Credit running order

The photo below displays the correct running order, often used in films and television shows. It is also traditional to have the white on black font and the reverse waterfall transition (where the credits run up and disappear once they reach the top). This type of credit style is well known for being featured in the first film production of The Wizards of Oz. However, over time the traditional credit running has changed. There are many modern variations on film creates, for example, Marvel films like Thor often contain after or during credit scenes. Another example of the development of screen credits can be seen through the children's television company Nickelodeon, where they shrink the credits by 60% and keep them rolling whilst they advertise other television programs or show extra scenes.
